The Ohio Collegiate Soccer Association (OCSA) was officially established in 1953 under the leadership of Clifford Stevenson, the Men’s Soccer Coach at Oberlin College. A number of Ohio Colleges and Universities had established Men’s Soccer prior to 1953 including the University of Akron, Ohio Wesleyan University, Oberlin College and The Ohio State University. The OSCA was the guiding source for the development of Collegiate Soccer in the State of Ohio and the Great Lakes Region.

The OCSA, one of the largest (if not the largest) state collegiate soccer association in the US with over 80 members. The OCSA serves the membership with numerous services and awards programs, including the recognition of top players and programs and coaches for both Men and Women’s Collegiate Soccer programs.
